PATENT
PARALEGAL
The
U of M Office of the General Counsel has an exciting opportunity for a
Patent Paralegal to help establish the University’s first internal
Patent Team. The successful candidate will have 2 years college-level
paralegal coursework, or the equivalent, and two years of patent paralegal
experience, to total 4 years; and familiarity with domestic USPTO forms
and with electronic filing. Exceptional organizational and project tracking
skills required. Knowledge of PCT/foreign filing rules and procedures
preferred. The position will also co-develop the University’s internal
patent docket and file management system; and track/manage internal and
external correspondence. The OGC offers a collegial environment with challenging
