  • Medicaid Fraud Attorney

The Minnesota Attorney General’s Office is accepting resumes from attorneys interested in joining the Medicaid Fraud Unit of the office and prosecuting health care providers that defraud the state medical assistance program.  This position directly contributes to the quality of health care in Minnesota and the protection of the public.  Medicaid fraud harms taxpayers and diverts health care services away from needs of vulnerable patients.

Requirements:  The selection process for this position is highly competitive.  Lawyers are responsible for all phases of both criminal and civil litigation, including overseeing/managing investigations, preparing and filing pleadings and briefs, appearing at court hearings and trials, and handling appeals.  Applicants should have relevant civil or criminal litigation trial experience, solid academic credentials, and good judgment, research, and analytical abilities.

Your service with the office may qualify you to have part of your college and/or law school student loans forgiven under a federal student loan forgiveness program that applies to state government employees.   • Assistant City Attorney – City of Minneapolis

The City of Minneapolis is hiring an Assistant City Attorney I. Under general supervision of the Deputy City Attorney, Civil, the ACAI assigned to the Client Services Team performs professional legal work involving civil matters, including providing legal advice and drafting ordinances, drafting and negotiating contracts, drafting development or real estate agreements and performing other client services projects.  The position also includes conducting legal research, preparing legal opinions or memoranda, and other legal work of the Civil Division of the City Attorney’s Office.  The position may represent the City of Minneapolis and its various departments, boards, and commissions in civil litigation and related matters.

  • Temporary Document Review Attorneys

Robins Kaplan LLP seeks Temporary Document Review Attorneys to assist with document review, analysis, and coding in our Minneapolis office. Hours will typically be 40-hours per week for the duration of a project. Projects last a few days to several months.
