"ATTORNEY A LA CARTE"
Tuesday, June 3
Limited-scope representation offers a creative method of reaching a large pool of potential clients currently unserved or underserved by lawyers. You can coach a self-represented litigant, assist with document preparation and procedures, or even go to court for a single hearing or issue. Many individuals have difficulty affording traditional full-service legal representation. These people have property rights to protect and legal issues of significant importance to them and are willing and able to pay for quality legal assistance.
Once limited to family law, limited-scope representation is now spreading into general civil litigation. Done correctly, it is a win/win. Clients receive quality legal assistance and can more effectively protect their legal rights. Attorneys can expand their client base, creating both a profit center and a pool of happy clients. Experience shows that the level of client satisfaction in limited-scope is significantly higher than in more traditional litigation models.
Come hear from a local attorney practicing limited scope representation, and from three attorneys involved in the development of this practice in Minnesota

Presented by: Pat Burns, First Assistant Director, Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility, Jean Lastine, Executive Director, Central MN Legal Services, Susan LeDray, Pro Se Services Manager 4th Judicial District Court, Hennepin County and John Del Vecchio, Attorney at Law
